The best curling iron under $15

Most of the time, I like doing my own hair when I’m hosting or reporting. I know what looks best on me and I’ve done it a million times. I’ve found that the easiest way to create a polished look is to go with loose waves. It’s my go-to look when I’m in a hurry or need a style that will last all day.

I’ve tried plenty of curling irons, wands, and straighteners and I’ve also watched other on-air ladies to see what they use. And I found that a lot of us are using the same inexpensive curling iron: The Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron.

conair1inchThis curling iron heats up quickly, has plenty of numbered settings to control the heat, and curls evenly. It’s incredibly easy to use and durable. I use the 1-inch size because my hair is slightly above shoulder-length, but it comes in larger barrel sizes as well. I would honestly pay more for this curling iron, but I’m not complaining that it’s under $15!

Even if you have a fancy curling iron you love, this is a great backup or travel iron to have in reserve. I’ve been shocked at how well it performs, and I always choose to use this little guy over fancier or more expensive options.
